Muscles and Tendon

Kevin Ware’s injury was most directly observed as a severe compound fracture of the tibia but muscles and tendons were also involved in this injury. The largest main important muscle that was severely damaged in his injury, is tibialis anterior which was directly torn through when his tibia pierced through his leg and skin.
